Mickey and Daphnee’s search for the perfect retirement home led them to North Carolina—and ultimately to a stunning custom home in Governors Club, a premier gated community in Chapel Hill. After touring the area and falling in love with the scenery and sense of community, they selected a unique triangular lot that offers rare panoramic views of the forest, lake, and golf course.

Prioritizing aging-in-place features and a manageable lot size, they partnered with BOLD Construction to build a traditional-style home tailored to their lifestyle.
