Exterior of custom home

I recently welcomed friends and colleagues into my new home, and I’m still buzzing from their reactions. The open floor plan encouraged laughter and connection, soaring ceilings gave the space a sense of grandeur, and the modern wood stove became a cozy focal point. But it was the expansive back deck overlooking a serene canopy of trees that stole the show. The end result is nothing short of spectacular, a true reflection of our team’s dedication at BOLD Construction to crafting exceptional spaces.

But behind every dream home lies a story of grit and perseverance. In this case, I experienced the process as both the client and the builder. We faced:

  • Pandemic-driven material and labor shortages

  • A rigorous architectural review process

  • County permitting for building and erosion control

  • Weather delays

  • Engineering feats of constructing on a mountainside

Even material deliveries became a logistical puzzle on the terrain, with Murphy’s Law adding extra challenges at every turn. It wasn’t easy, but it was worth it.

This experience underscores the balance we strive for with every BOLD Construction client. Our role is to shield homeowners from the daily headaches of approvals, weather, and supply chain issues while still guiding them with transparency about the complexities of custom home building.

We do this by staying true to our core values:

  • Do the right thing

  • Show others we care

  • Address problems head-on

  • Commit to constant improvement

  • Have fun

  • Get results

Walking the line between transparency and ease is critical. It is the difference between a frustrated client and one who is thrilled to see their dream home become a reality.

At BOLD Construction, we have rewritten the custom home experience by delivering not just beautiful homes but also peace of mind.
