Meet the BOLD Construction Team

CHRIS EHRENFELD

Owner, Visionary

“I sketch castles on napkins.”

Chris Ehrenfeld was born and raised in Pittsburgh and came to Chapel Hill to attend UNC’s Kenan-Flagler Business School. After earning his degree, he chose to make Chapel Hill his permanent home. With a passion for home construction, Chris is involved from the first sketch to the moment clients step into their finished home. Outside of work, he enjoys exploring North Carolina’s outdoors with his wife, Jana, and their twin boys, Max and Mason.

JASON DELL

Owner, Integrator

“I make sure those castles get plumbing, permits, and a closing date.”

Born and raised in Pittsburgh, Jason’s greatest adventures are with his two kids, where he can be found on the sidelines cheering them on. He loves golf for the challenge and the chance to be out in nature. When he is not leading projects with the BOLD Construction team, he is camping, hiking, or traveling.

Cindy Covington

Mel Bartosik

Executive Assistant

“I coordinate details so projects stay organized.”

Mel keeps teams organized so builders can build and clients can relax. A North Carolina native, she loves historical dramas, documentaries, and modern folk music. She is happiest on a warm-weather getaway or in the backyard tending plants. A perfect day is on the lake with her husband and their adventure cat, Miss Kitty, with quick trips to Virginia to see their son. Color-coded spreadsheets, labels, and checklists are her secret weapons, and she is always learning, from welding to cabinetmaking to American Sign Language.

Liz Carpenter-Bayer

Finance Manager

“I oversee accounting and keep projects financially sound.”

With 20+ years in construction accounting, Liz keeps complex, luxury builds financially sound. She partners closely with project teams and clients to align scopes, costs, and timelines. A lover of history, she sees every home as a unique story and legacy. Like a well-choreographed Latin dance, she keeps the details in sync and on tempo. Her goal is simple, clear numbers and zero invoice surprises.

Melissa Rigney

Purchasing Manager

“I source materials and manage purchasing for every build.”

As Purchasing Manager, Melissa secures the right materials and partners to set every project up for success. She builds strong supplier relationships, optimizes costs, and keeps operations seamless from bid to delivery. Outside work, she loves the outdoors and brings high energy to her music. A skilled fiddler, she blends classical grace with modern edge.

Andrea Enns

Designer & Selections Manager

“I help you design your house to feel like a home.”

A seasoned designer and selections manager at BOLD, Andrea focuses on homes that fit how clients actually live. Her work has earned awards, including parade-winning projects, but the thank-you notes years later mean the most. She listens closely, then translates vision into finishes that last. Collaboration and clarity are her trademarks. Turning dreams into a buildable, beautiful plan is where she shines.

Sheen Hosseinpour

Operations Coordinator

“I keep permitting and operations on track.”

After moving from California to North Carolina in 2014, Sheen built more than a decade of experience keeping projects organized and compliant. Sheen enjoys DIY videos, exploring the curiosities of quantum physics, and sim racing. Weekends often include hiking, NFL football, and following motorsports. Calm systems and sharp details are Sheen’s signature.

Jessie Quinones

Selections Coordinator

“I guide clients through the design selections process.”

Jessie draws inspiration from her Raleigh roots and her love of classic design. Influenced by designers like Jean Stoffer, she believes homes should tell the story of the people who live there. She guides clients through materials, colors, and finishes with a calm, organized approach. Off the clock, she enjoys a good margarita, time in the garden, and time with loved ones. Her goal is a cohesive look that feels natural from day one.

Claire Rose

Marketing Director

“I showcase the homes and stories behind BOLD.”

As Marketing Director, Claire showcases the craftsmanship behind every BOLD home. She lives in Raleigh with her husband, Nik, and their dogs, Tyson and Pearl. Weekends often mean trying new restaurants, hiking with the pups, traveling, or tackling house projects. She values time with family and friends.

Todd Getto

When time allows, he picks up the guitar and recharges. He brings patience, humor, and craftsmanship to the field. Clients appreciate his calm under pressure and willingness to solve problems.

Tanner Weir

Construction Manager

“I assist with on-site construction management.”

Born in California and raised in North Carolina, Tanner blends West Coast ease with Southern grit. He is happiest outdoors, often behind the wheel of a Jeep exploring new trails. His favorite hours are on the baseball diamond with his son or on family trips to the mountains and the coast. That balance of adventure and family shows up in his approach to work. He brings a grounded presence and a can-do mindset to every job site.

Nick Daniels

Construction Manager

“I oversee construction and keep projects on track.”

Nick is a construction manager who values creativity and connection. He is a father of two and a former chef who knows how to bring people together. In his free time he skates, paints, and writes poetry. That creative discipline informs his problem solving on site. He builds with craft, care, and a sense of style.

Avery Varley

“I bring craftsmanship and detail to every project.”

Born in Raleigh and an Appalachian State graduate, Avery has spent the last five years honing building as an art form. Avery brings a fresh, detailed eye to every project.

Carson Amy

“I keep job sites safe, clean, and organized.”

Carson keeps job sites clean, organized, and safe so crews can work efficiently. He sets high standards for order and follows through daily. After hours, he recharges outdoors, often on camping trips. A guitarist, he enjoys bringing people together with a good song. Pride in craftsmanship and care for people guide his work.
