From Vision to Reality: Jihyun & Hojae’s Custom Home Journey
Our relationship with Jihyun and Hojae began when they approached BOLD for a quote on a multifamily investment project along MLK Jr. Blvd. in Chapel Hill. This project was a perfect blend of our expertise in both custom home building and light commercial construction, as well as our ability to navigate Chapel Hill’s permitting process. While our initial connection was business-focused, Ms. Ma quickly came to trust BOLD’s commitment to quality and our dedication to standing behind our work.
In 2021, Jihyun explored the possibility of building a home in Maida Vale with us, though the conversation ultimately paused due to budget considerations. However, in 2023, when she encountered challenges with a different builder for her Maida Vale home, she knew BOLD was the team she could count on. That’s when we stepped in—kicking off the value engineering process and contract development to bring her vision to life.
Working closely with her architect, we finalized the plans and set the stage to build the dream home she and Hojae had envisioned.
