Meet the BOLD Construction Team
CHRIS EHRENFELD

“I sketch castles on napkins.”
Chris Ehrenfeld, born and raised in Pittsburgh, was drawn to North Carolina by the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. After receiving his bachelor’s degree from the Kenan-Flagler Business School at UNC, Chris decided to make Chapel Hill his permanent home.
In Chris’ 25+ years in construction in the Triangle region, he has been involved in hundreds of millions of dollars of real estate transactions. Chris is a licensed General Contractor. Chris is passionate about home construction from the sketch on the napkin all the way through the clients moving into the home of their dreams.
Chris is recognized throughout the Triangle as a leader in business in the community where he lives and works, as evidenced by his numerous awards including Triangle Business Journal 40 Under 40, Inc 5000 fastest growing companies, TBJ Fast 50 and more.

During his free time, you will find Chris enjoying the beautiful outdoors of North Carolina with his family, which includes his wife Jana and their twin boys, Max & Mason. While Chris and Jana stay busy with their family and business endeavors, they still make it a priority to give back to the community through their non-profit, the BOLD Foundation. The family looks forward to many more years of continued philanthropy, happiness, and prosperity in Chatham County.
JASON DELL
Owner, Integrator
“I make sure those castles get plumbing, permits, and a closing date.”
Growing up in Pittsburgh under the iconic dark blue and white Penn State flag, Jason was eager to study there. Graduating in 1998 with a bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, he quickly excelled in the telecommunications field.
His journey to helping Bold Construction become one of the area’s premier builders began in 2003 when a business opportunity with his best friend, since preschool, Chris Ehrenfeld, opened up. After relocating his family to Chapel Hill, Jason became an integral part of the development and building company’s ownership, leading the team in client relationships, project management, and business development. Jason is a licenced General Contractor.
Jason can be found spending time with his two children, Carter and Tatum, playing a round of golf or volunteering with local nonprofits. On weekends, you will frequently find Jason using a hammer or saw to help build homes for Chatham Habitat for Humanity, where he recently served as Chair of their Board. Jason is also an active member of University Presbyterian Church where he has served as a youth advisor, served on the board of trustees, and served on the building committee and is currently a Sunday School teacher. When asked about his motivations and drive, Jason responds that he wants to help each child have the same opportunities as his own children have – a safe place to live, access to proper nutrition, character building activities, and fun, memorable activities.
Not only does Jason reside in the Chatham County, Chapel Hill area, but he has also invested his time, business interests, and energy into the continued growth of the local economy making Chatham County one of the best places to call home.
