At Bold Construction, it’s the most wonderful time of the year! We are honored to be a part of our annual Holiday Cheer program in collaboration with Domicile Realty, and Chatham County Schools.
This year, we were able to provide gifts for more than 180 children (another record number!) in our local community!
The Holiday Cheer program is something we truly look forward to every year. We became involved with the program several years ago when we found out that our local school only had donors to purchase gifts for 30 of the 87 children in need. That year, Bold Construction purchased gifts for these 57 children, as we did not want any child in our local school to not have gifts during the holiday season.
Due to the fact the school had limited resources for the Holiday Cheer Program, Bold Construction has since volunteered to handle the management of the program in addition to purchasing all of the gifts. This is possible by working in collaboration with our affiliate companies, Domicile Realty and Governors Club Realty, in order to continue the program to assist families in need.
Our sponsorship allows the Chatham County schools to simply generate a wish list from families in need. The wish lists typically include everything from winter coats, blankets, and warm clothing to toys and outdoor recreational equipment.
Each year, the number of children needing gifts has grown. For the second year in a row, with the help and involvement of Governors Club country club, we were not only able to provide gifts for the most number of children that we have ever supported, but we also were able to gift more to each child – even more than in prior years!
Our team looks forward to purchasing these gifts each year and is very proud to help the children in our local schools. We are happy to have the privilege of adding a little joy to families in the community this holiday season.

The Learning Trail
The Learning Trail is a non-profit in North Carolina that provides low-income children through grade 8 and their families with needed academic and social support for children to reach their full academic potential.
Mrs. Morrison and an awesome team worked together to spread holiday cheer with gifts for approximately 80 NCE families which served around 175 children through Learning Trail Tutoring Center prior to our Winter Break. It was wonderful to see all the acts of kindness during the holiday season! Our community is the best! Special thanks to the following for helping to make Holiday Cheer happen: Bold Construction, Domicile Real Estate and Governors Club. Thank you all for your generosity! – Carla Murray, Principal, North Chatham Elementary:
