A Bold Construction custom home, built in Governors Club, was recently featured in HGTV’s hit show Love It or List It.
The episode, An Artful Promise (Season 14, Episode 4), features a couple living in Durham that is considering either purchasing a new home or upgrading their current home.
The home built by Bold Construction was one of several homes the couple looked at as a potential location to move to if they decided to list their current home. “Amazing” and “Bright” were adjectives used to describe it by the potential buyers. You can see the Bold Construction custom home starting at the 16:15 minute mark of the episode.

Bert and Tommy share Tommy’s eclectic, 1980s contemporary home, but Bert wants a home that reflects them both. The couple loves to entertain and host visiting artists and friends, but Bert feels the house is dated, lacks the space and function for their needs and leaves him with no space to call his own. Bert wants David to find them their dream home with a pool, but Tommy, the creative visionary, sees potential and hopes Hilary can bring their dream to life in their current home.
