We believe that every child deserves a joyful holiday season. That’s why each December, BOLD Foundation coordinates with the Chatham County School District to gift children at the school winter clothes and items off their wish lists. For the fourth year in a row, BOLD Foundation has partnered with the Governors Club community through their Santa Open Golf Tournament and we are extremely grateful for this opportunity which helps promote and raise funds for our Holiday Cheer program!

Holiday Cheer is an event our team looks forward to each year. The humbling experiences we have shared through our Holiday Cheer program and other charitable initiatives have taught us the true meaning of the holidays and the gift of giving back to our community!

On Friday, December 3rd, BOLD employees and volunteers came together for a fun-filled shopping trip to our local Target. Each volunteer shopped for their assigned children based on the items noted on their holiday wish lists. These items included bikes, toys, books, games, and winter clothing essentials. This year, we successfully shopped for more than 175 children, and our hearts and shopping bags are feeling extra full because of it!

On December 16th, the BOLD employees organized, prepared, and delivered the gifts to the excited children and families of Chatham County. Employees from across the BOLD Companies tagged and bagged items for 175+ Chatham County School children fulfilling their Holiday wish lists. It’s an event we excitedly anticipate each year — we count it as a high honor to give back to the children and families of the community and the Chatham County School District.

BOLD Foundation is grateful for its continued partnership with Governors Club and those who participate in and support the Santa Open Golf Tournament. Proceeds from the event directly benefit families we serve through Holiday Cheer.
