The tall ceilings and arched windows were a standout feature, but the original teal walls and yellow-toned floors made the space feel dated. To refresh the home, we painted the walls in Shoji White by Sherwin Williams—a warm, soft white that brightens the space and brings focus to the stunning architecture. In the living room, we added contrast and depth by painting the arched built-ins in a darker accent shade, creating a bold yet balanced focal point. The existing wood floors were refinished in a light-to-medium brown, removing the yellow undertones and creating a cohesive flow throughout the main living areas.
