About the Awards
The Business Excellence Awards are an annual ceremony honoring the locally-owned businesses of Carrboro and Chapel Hill. Categories cover multiple business sizes and focuses, from large for-profit corporations to small non-profits and demographic-specific awards. The awards also feature a separate People’s Choice category voted on directly by customers: restaurants, hotels, real estate and more. We highly encourage you to go vote!
The awards themselves are always a classy affair: red carpet, cocktails, locally sourced hors d’oeuvres and drinks, live entertainment, the works. It’s a great opportunity to network with the business movers and shakers of our little corner of the Triangle.
About the Chamber
Composed of over 1,200 members, the Chapel Hill-Carrboro Chamber of Commerce seeks to advance a friendly and diverse business community. Though it’s based in Chapel Hill, members extend to Durham, the RTP, and other important centers of the Triangle.
The Chamber connects business owners, supports startups, promotes community causes, and offers financial benefits for its members.
